Digital Outputs

Digital Outputs Overview

Radonix control boards’ digital outputs are labeled O[nn], where nn is a positive integer indicating the output number. Each output is protected against short-circuits and overcurrent (≈300 mA max per output on PC-Pro; ≈1 A on PC-Smart). On fault, the red O-Error LED lights and all outputs are disabled—never tie outputs together or use them to drive high-current loads directly; always use a relay for loads >300 mA (Pro) or >1 A (Smart).

Digital outputs connector

Output type: NPN sink (Low-Active) — active = pulled to GND.

ℹ️

All peripherals (PLCs, inverters, etc.) must share the same 0 V reference, even if powered by separate supplies.
