Introduction

Radonix CAM-Pro CNC Interfaces

Welcome to the Radonix CAM-Pro CNC Interfaces folder.

The CNC controller serves as the main interface between the Radonix CAM-Pro application and the user. Through these interfaces, users interact with the program to operate CNC machines. This folder contains a collection of router interfaces designed for various CNC configurations.

In all CNC machines, the machine must recognize all limit points within the work area so that the tool can move to defined coordinates over the workpiece. The axes along which the tool moves are known as control axes and are categorized as main axes, auxiliary axes, and rotary axes.

Main axes are typically referred to as X, Y, Z and should be mutually perpendicular. Auxiliary axes are denoted as U, V, W, which run parallel to X, Y, Z and activate when the main axes encounter movement constraints. Rotary axes, rotating around X, Y, and Z, are labeled as A, B, C respectively.

Terms

  • Interface: The primary connection between the program and the user; everything seen and used to communicate with the controller in Radonix CAM-Pro.
  • Variable: Numerical and textual data that allows users to modify visual elements, movement, and machine responses.
  • Function: Programs triggered by the controller or user that execute specific commands, facilitating interaction.
  • Parameter: Controller or interface variables that allow changes during program execution or machine motion.
  • Port: Refers to all input and output terminals of the controller.
  • Tab: UI sections that organize different interface components to reduce clutter.
  • Element: Each visual tool used in the interface, allowing interaction with functions and parameters.
  • Key: Hardware or software-based toggles depending on the application type.

Custom Interface Requests

If your CNC setup requires a custom interface not found in our collection, please contact us. Our team is ready to design and deliver a solution tailored to your specific needs.

To request a custom interface, email us at [email protected] and provide a detailed description of your CNC configuration and the interface requirements.

ℹ️

All controller-related variables (interface details, motion settings, software-hardware relations, etc.) are stored as a tree diagram in the system registry and presented through the settings window. These variables are categorized by device type or usage area, helping users locate specific variables easily.
