Introduction to CAM-Pro Calibrator Software
Introduction to CAM-Pro Calibrator Software
As previously explained, the CAM-Pro Calibrator software is installed alongside the CAM-Pro software. After installation, there are two ways to find the calibration tool:
- Method 1: Navigate to the default installation location in Drive C of Windows, open the Program Files (x86) folder, then go to the Radonix directory. Inside the Radonix CAM-Pro folder, you will find the CAMProCalibrator software.
- Method 2: In the Start menu, search for Radonix CAM-Pro Calibrator and launch it from the search results (Step 1, Figure 1) (Step 2, Figure 1).
(Figure 2)

Figure (2)
The program consists of two windows. The first window only opens when more than one active interface exists on the PC (Figure 3). In this window, you can select the interface you want to use and press OK to proceed. If there is only one active interface, this selection window will not appear, and the main window will open directly.

When you launch CAM-Pro Calibrator, you’ll see the window shown in Figure 4. The components of this window are explained below:

Controller
-
Connection:
- Must be in LAN mode for Pro-Lan and Smart controllers.
- Must be in USB mode for ProUSB controllers.
-
Serial:
- Displays the serial number of the controller.
-
Activation Code:
- The 16-digit activation code that enables the axis.
-
Active Axes:
- Displays the number of axes activated by the activation code.
Axis
-
Axis:
- Selects the desired axis for calibration.
-
Direction:
- Selects the movement direction compatible with standard axes.
- Negative: Moves in the negative direction.
- Positive: Moves in the positive direction.
- Selects the movement direction compatible with standard axes.
-
Step:
- The calibration ratio or step value calculated by the software and automatically saved to the interface.
Continuous Jog
-
- :
- Manually moves the axis in the negative direction.
-
Mode:
- Selects the manual movement type (Continuous / Incremental).
- If the symbol is solid
___
, movement is Continuous. - If the symbol is dashed
- - -
, movement is Incremental.
- If the symbol is solid
- Selects the manual movement type (Continuous / Incremental).

- + :
- Manually moves the axis in the positive direction.
- Length:
- Shows the movement distance in Incremental mode. Only active when Incremental is selected.
- Velocity:
- Adjusts the speed of manual movement. The + and - buttons next to it increase or decrease the speed.
Calibration
- Start:
- Begins the calibration process.
- Location 1:
- Sets the start position for calibration. Should be measured from a fixed point on the axis.
- Location 2:
- Sets the end position for calibration. Should be measured from a fixed point on the axis.
- Calculate:
- Completes the calibration process and calculates the step ratio.
- Exit:
- Exits the program.
