Digital Outputs
The digital outputs of Radonix control boards are labeled as O[nn], where nn represents a number greater than zero and indicates the output number. These outputs are protected against short circuits and overheating due to excessive current. When such conditions occur, an error is indicated by a red LED labeled O-Error on the board, and the control board disables all outputs.
The maximum current capacity for each output is approximately 300 mA. Therefore, if you need to operate a component that draws more current, a relay must be used.

Never connect the outputs together to supply high current or to create a circuit logic.
The control board detects this as an error and immediately shuts down all outputs.
In PC-Pro models, the maximum current capacity for each output is approximately 300 mA. Therefore, if a component that draws higher current is to be operated, a relay must be used.
The digital outputs of Radonix control boards are of the NPN type, also known as Low Active or Sink. As a result, when active, the output is connected to zero volts (GND). The electronic circuit diagram for this is shown in Figure 11.

All peripheral devices, such as PLCs and inverters, must be connected with a common or same potential zero-voltage supply.
In fact, even when using multiple power supplies, their zero-voltage (GND) connections must be linked together.
As shown in Figure 9, each output is protected by a diode. Therefore, when connecting to relays, it is not necessary to use an additional diode to prevent feedback current.
Figure 10 illustrates how outputs are connected to various components. All peripheral devices, such as PLCs and inverters, must be connected at the same potential or share a common zero-voltage supply. In fact, even when multiple power supplies are used, all zero-voltage (GND) connections must be linked together.

The settings that store information about the outputs can be found under the following branch in the configuration tree:
Setting: System / OutPort[nn]
Each output includes two variables: Enabled and Link.
- Enabled is used to activate or deactivate the output.
- Link is used to connect the output to a specific output pin.
Router devices typically use the connections listed in Table 3 to define outputs.
